When Grand-Am Road Racing suggested that it wanted to more deeply engage and educate attendees during the sanctioning body’s events, Next Marketing, in partnership with Acts Marketing, designed the interactive Grand-Am FanZone presented by Continental Tire. At each of the 15 U.S. Grand-Am stops, thousands of fans register for Grand-AM’s monthly e-newsletter, get the feel of changing Continental race tires during a timed pit stop and pose for a Winner’s Circle photo. Currently in its second year, the Grand-Am FanZone consistently contributes to Grand-AM’s objectives by raising awareness, opinion and understanding for the series and its sponsors as evidenced by post-event attendee survey results.
